We only take new patients by expression of interest, and YOU choose from the list who you want to see. No more chaotic open or closed books with the awful feeling that you’re about to inherit some other clinic’s heartsink patient. We have over 300 patients on our waitlist, and it continues to grow daily. Each patient outlines why they’re looking for care with us, which lets you choose the patients you think you’re best suited to help.
We accept that even as a private billing GP, there will always be some percentage of patients you end up bulk billing, so we created a home for that. We quarantine bulk billing with an optional parallel bulk billing stream for your patients. This isn’t some open slather walk in clinic, it’s a controlled environment for you to service appropriate bulk billing while protecting your private billing. It lets patients choose whether to wait for bulk billed care or pay, knowing you’ve offered a genuine alternative. You were going to bulk bill some of this anyway. This is just a better way to do it (our Whitebridge Express clinic, designed to let you control your private and bulk billed care in a clean, separate format).
Clear and easy work from home capability with genuine cloud based software, built to deliver scripts, pathology and referrals seamlessly without extra plug ins. Alongside simple app based diallers and video software that make it feel to patients like you’re calling from the clinic, and get rid of that lingering fear you forgot to put your mobile on private number.
The ability to build a GP led niche service without leaving core general practice. We acknowledge that general practice is under pressure from multiple directions, and part of protecting it is leaning into areas of interest. We’ve built out multiple sub brands for our GPs to explore and promote their interests, including ADHD and stimulant continuity prescribing, LARCs, skin cancer and concierge care. Where are we, and why would you want to work in Whitebridge?
We’re about 15 minutes out of Newcastle, between Dudley and Charlestown if you’re more local. This is not some high rise medical centre attached to a shopping centre. It’s a proper local strip. Coffee shop next door. People walking in who live nearby. You’ll start recognising faces pretty quickly.
A lot of our patients are locals who’ve either lived here for years or have deliberately moved to the area. Young families, professionals, people who actually want a regular GP and stick around once they find one. You get that mix of continuity and community that general practice is supposed to have, without it feeling small or limiting.
Fernleigh Track entrance is basically across the road if you’ve been flirting with the idea of riding to work. A Pilates studio right there for the classes you keep saying you’ll start. Daycare is just around the roundabout, so drop off and pick up is actually manageable around your day. There’s also a cracking surf beach five minutes away with genuinely great banks.
